Raises martini glass.
Here’s to being able to stuff our faces in front of each other
to our endless tolerance for garlic breath
to first kisses
to sharing wildly inappropriate dreams
to savage fashion commentary
to singing ‘Especially For You’ in the toilets while waiting for each other to finish peeing
to trawling the supermarket for Zappo’s and ice cream
to AJ, Nick, Howie, Brian and Topless Kevin
to subtitles on DVDs which allow us to sing along, loudly and proudly
to basketball players
to boyfriends, whether fake, joint or real (see above photo. Mm-hmm.)
to dunks
to dancing
to muscles
to ‘going there and buying real estate’
to bidding the newlyweds a bawdy farewell
to love, and laughter, and joy
to sharing secrets and sharing food
to empowerment
to the subtle, healing balm of friendship
to girlfriends.

Just had the craziest fun night ever with all my favourite girls!
Here’s to good eating, good gossip, good laughter, good dessert, good BSB reminiscing and sing-along sessions, good ctaching up with ate C and her wow-oh-wows, good cheering for our Troy Bolton and most of all: good company with Charisse, Michelle and Lizzy!

Had a girly night out with the Serrano (-Diaz) sisters. We talked all things girly over chocolate fondue at San Churros.
I live for nights like these, they remind me to dream big and reach for the sky. But more importantly, to do it with people I love.
Most of all, spending time with strong women I love, inspires me to take a leap of faith in all aspects of life.
I took Charisse to the Alex Perry show tonight at Fashion Week. It reminded me how much I loved the fashion industry when I first started. I felt as if we were two little girls playing dress-ups.
By far the best show I’ve seen. Seriously, when you have that much tulle, glitter, sequins and sparkles, how could you go wrong? The collection titled “Arabian Princess” was absolutely gorgeous. I spotted at least 5 “I DIE” gowns.
And no Alex show is complete without me thinking to myself “I want to get married in that” at least once! hehe…
I’m so glad I could take Charisse and show her around backstage. The best part of my job these days I find, is being able to share it with my friends.
Tonight, I’m feeling a little more Brooke, a little less Hayley.
Brooke: “I really need a huge Haley heart-to-heart right now.”
7x09 - Now You Lift Your Eyes to the Sun
I loved this movie. I love even more, the fact that I saw it with my friends - strong, intelligent and talented women. The world needs more of them.
I <3 Charisse, Lizzy & Mish
