Still in awe of Clarksons performance at Acer Arena tonight. The most impressive set of pipes I have ever witnessed! Props to the peeps from SONY for hooking me up with the sweet-as seats.
Girlfriend KILLED it. Aside from her set list of awesome pop anthems, she did a breath-taking medley of songs from her debut album “Thankful” including two of my personal faves: Just Missed the Train & Low.
Don’t even talk to me about the mind-blowing rendition of “I could be good/Use Somebody” by KOL, spine-tingling cover of “Lies” by Black Keys & tear-jerker version of “Tonight I wanna cry” by Keith Urban. I friggen DIE.
I’ve always wondered why someone with such a soulful voice (witnessed in covers of “Up to the mountain”, “Natural Woman” and pretty much all the songs she performed to take the American Idol crown), records only pop and pop-rock songs? She mentioned that she loves to sing blues, but rarely records them because radio stations aren’t a fan of blues.

I’m totally going to be playing her records on repeat for the next few days. Prepare yourself for the spammage that will ensue.
I don’t know why, but I’m in love with the new Nick Jonas song.
It has a very John Mayer feel to it, but is also reminiscent of Prince and early Michael Jackson.
